Grandpa and Grandma Time

Something that is "sacred tradition" at Hills Creek is the girls-only then boys-only breakfast with Grandpa and Grandma.

The girls got their opportunity on Saturday morning.  Greeted with bacon, hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs, the girls were literally lined up outside the camper ready to go.   Mom and Dad (and the girls) reported that they had a great time chatting away and playing their own form of Trivial Pursuit (stump each other).

But, what was probably even more appreciated was the Rummy Game - and later, introduction to "Snuff" that Mom and Dad shared with them.

From what I understand, Dad kind of kicked butt.  (He grew up playing Rummy).  So, Mom had to teach them the game that she could usually beat him at.  =)

The next morning (Sunday) was breakfast with the boys.  Which, upon looking at this picture - is really "Breakfast with the Men" (SIGH!!!).  It was indeed a sweet time with them too - Mom said their conversations and attentiveness to each others' stories was as great as she could have hoped for.

Not much more to add besides, "Priceless!" =)
