Extreme Duck Makeover

I laid in bed Friday morning and decided it was time. Brayden's bedroom had been the trash bin of the house for far too long - he had no desire to sleep in there, play in there, and the decor was far too juvenile for our big old boy. This weekend we would redo it. And, boy did we ever. Fortunately, we had no need to buy furniture, so the money allocated was just used to "Duck it out". However, he will be loving the Ducks until the day he leaves home, this is it - no more makeovers. GO DUCKS!!!!

Incidentally, because I was preoccupied with other plans, John did 100% of the decorating - I helped pick the stuff out, but he put it all together. Well Done Honey!

If you can look past all of the ugly green and yellow - it looks awesome. I might recommend black and orange next time you decorate. Oh- and I think it might look better if you put "STATE" behind the Oregon signs next time too... :)
Great work John!

Great Looking room, Brayden! You can just move all of this stuff from his bedroom to dormroom...he will be going to UO, right?????

Hollie, what are you doing up at 5 in the morning? You have the craziest schedules I know? And, that ultra liberal college wouldn't be my first choice, FYI..... =)

What, you don't want your son hearing about "the myth of Creation" five million times or finding out on his first day of sociology class that he will be REQUIRED to join an environmental action group such as EarthFirst! (Yeah, I dropped that class on day 2.) Ahh, the scent of patchouli wafting across the courtyards...
