Ideas Anyone?

Lovely ladies who visit my blog-

I am seeking ideas for your most successful womens' events put on through your church. We are trying to do a little brainstorming - thinking outside the box to try to attract more of the younger generations. More as to why I'm asking later, but in the meantime, if you've ever put on or attended a fantastic event - please share!

Anything that shows TLC. My first event at First B was a large conference like setting with the speaker being (oh shoot! what is her name. She is my age-ish. They were/are missionaries. Joy something)
ANyway, then we broke into classroom groups. I learned Bread Making. They also had wreath making. And other classroom/skill learning activities. Linda Witt was part of the planning for it.
I was told it took A LOT of work.

Your Women's Ministry is so active; I cannot believe that you need suggestions!
Everything I am thinking of I back it up with "oh, no, they already do that".....

Keep us posted! :)

I believe our women's ministry has a successful event every winter with a breakfast and craft booths hosted by women in the church. They have a garden tour where various women open their homes. Their retreats are also popular. To be honest I've never gone to any events because either there's no daycare or I feel guilty dropping off my kids or I feel shy because I'd be a loner there!
