About 20 minutes ago, John came in and awoke me out of the land of "dark nothingness" (I was sleeping hard) - and said, "Did you want to wake up for Game Day?".... And yes, I got up. 7:10 on a Saturday morning just to watch four guys talk football (and trash the Ducks, sadly).But, it was more than that. It was the smell of bacon, and the boisterous laughter downstairs. The lure of the "fun I was missing out on" -
I love these guys. I love the fun we all have together. It's reason enough to get up "at the crack of dawn" - especially mixed with some Russian Tea, a few oatmeal raisin cookies, and a great book.
It should be a good day!
(The three dogs think so too!)
