This is a blog that my friend, Heather, and I have been following over the last couple of years. His blog, and that of his wife's, Allison - have chronicled their journey with a rare form of cancer Allison was diagnosed with in June of 2006 (I believe....). At this time last year, it appeared that she had the upper hand...., however, today's post clearly paints a much different picture.
It's a tearjerker, folks, but I would be remiss to not direct you their way so your prayers could be lifted up on their behalf. The expressions of his devotion towards his wife have been some of the most beautiful words I've seen a husband write......

This has been so upsetting. I keep praying that her pain will just lift long enough to give her some clarity and a chance to say goodbye to everyone, if it is her time. It must be so hard for Tom, now that his sister is pregnant, to try to cope with why this is happening. I'm struggling with it myself.
how does anyone put that into words. his were beautiful. i glanced a little and want to go back and read more, there was a post that he wrote on watching her sleep and it made me melt. thank you for sharing this steph...cancer affects so many of us in all sorts of ways. thank you Jesus for new life!!!!
