you really ought to check it out. I thought Jodi was so creative and I big-time related! She also has an excellent and a bit heartbreaking post today regarding kids being picked on. I think it strikes a chord in every good mommy out there.

Going back to the season thing, though - I will have that be the theme for today~

1. What is one big-time indicator to you that the season has shifted from summer to fall.........

2. What is something you are really looking forward to in the next couple of months.........

Heres hoping are temps dip to the 70`s or below!

1. The trees at Target turn a magnificent color (young maples) and along Pioneer Parkway - they are all golden yellow. The chill in the mornings and evenings.....

2. Women of Faith conference, I suppose - not really one thing Im excited for, rather just making the most of the Duck games, braydens soccer and football games, and the fun of the season in general. (BTW - I have 2 tickets still available for the Women of Faith Conference in Portland - Oct. 12-13, if you know anyone who would want to buy them - $65 each).

1. It was still dark when we woke up this morning.

2. That nip in the air (ah, I love the nip) and rain! My webbed feet are shriveling in the heat! I also enjoy taking the kids to get pumpkins and thanks to Jodi, I can't wait to make choc. chip pumpkin muffins.

1. It's changing with a new climate. It used to be the changing trees and the cooler temps, but that doesn't exist much here, soooo...I will say normally it is the food, the smells, my Homecoming Tyler candle, muffins, casseroles, warm lattes, getting dark early which I love!
2. A LOT. My 10 year anniversary and a weekend away with hubby, a trip away with a girlfriend to celebrate our birthdays in a little cabin in the woods for two nights and three days with food and books and wine, another weekend away to WOF in Portland with a good friend...

1. The exchange of flip-flops and tank-tops for warm cozy sweatshirts; the smell of a wood stove fire; the excitement of childrens' soccer games and college football games; the first taste of homemade chili and apple pie; the return of your favorite pair of jeans....
2. The last 2 years it was Disneyland... sigh... (Have a GREAT time in Disneyworld Hollie!) - This year I am looking forward to dates with Michael at OSU games and The Women of Faith Conference with dear girlfriends...

1. The nip in the air first thing in the morning or right before bed; leaves changing color, football, hot chocolate, rain, football, cozy sweatshirts and sock, oh, and did I mention football!!!!!?

2. Football games with my husband, and our two best, most dearest friends ever; the Rileys. Most of all though, I am looking forward to the arrival of my niece on or about October 8th. CAN'T WAIT!!

1. Oh the wonderful trees. They are turning. I think this does it for me. I took a wonderful picture of one red leaf in a bunch of green ones. I smiled:-).

2. The season! Hunting (not me but the time spent at my mom's while Randy hunts), apple orchard, pumpkin hay ride, walking in crunching leaves. I could go on!
