April Fools Day

I don't usually do much to honor this day, mostly because I'm not "with it" enough to come up with anything. But, this year, I saw a suggestion in a magazine and thought I'd give it a try.

When Brayden asked for cereal this morning, I put several drops of green food coloring at the bottom, and then put the cereal on top. I had him pour the milk, and sure enough - it all turned green. His bewildered, "gross" expression were just what I was hoping for......

I love that you keep up with my blog and give me great comments! Thank You! Not sure if you heard yet, but I just got hired to be the 5th grade teacher at my kids school, OHara, next year! I am really excited about it but worried about the pressures of being a working mom. I want to be perfect at both of my important jobs (mom and teacher). I figured that I will be too exhausted to do anything next Spring Break so we got as much in as we could this year!

OK I know that my last comment was really long, but I also wanted to say that I love your April Fools trick. I am going to use that one next year! . . .I am also keeping Megan in my prayers.

That's awesome! I can never, ever think of anything clever to do, but I'm totally going to rip this one off and do it to my daughter when she's a little older. :)
