I know it won't last, I know it's not record amounts - I know it's not even a week day so that it doesn't even mean a delay or day off - but it's just so BEAUTIFUL! And, it makes me so happy. I heard rain all night long, but then at about 6, it occurred to me that it was eerily quiet outside...... Maybe, just maybe....... Sure enough, along with the paper out front was snowfall. YIPPEE!
(I knew there was a reason we haven't taken down the Christmas lights yet!)

OK, so maybe it DID last, it perhaps DID come close to a snow record for this day in Eugene, and with any luck it WILL mean a no-school day tomorrow. (What is up with EVERY other district making their intentions clear about closures for Monday, EXCEPT Eugene 4J?) How nice would it be to know tonite instead of having to wake up...... GRUMBLE, GRUMBLE, GRUMBLE!!!!
The phone rang as soon as I submitted that comment - it was Stephie telling me that Eugene had announced its closure for tomorrow..... I'm smiling very big right now......
