A Couple of Questions XVI

1. If you could design your dream house (no worries about money), what would be some features that you would be a high priority to you?

2. Mothers' Day plans?

The weather looks to be getting warmer - the rain this last weekend was just enough to make sure I wasn't taking the warm temps and sunshine for granted. (I know I talk a lot about weather, but it really has a huge impact on my attitude on any given day, particularly how I wake up....)

1. Here's some random things I'd want: a sink big enough to accomodate a 9x13 casserole dish, a steaming hot water tap, a jetted tub. I've heard having a washer and dryer upstairs if that's where the bedrooms are is a good thing. A really cool, organized mud room.....

2. Mothers' Day - Friday we'll have a pedicure with my mom. If the weather holds and gets warmer, I'd love to hang out at the pool on Sunday.

1. A big front porch; orientation so the sun rises in the front (and my bedroom) and sets in the back; a covered place to park and get into the house; a garbage disposal; interesting architecture (I like Craftsman a lot); wood floors. And small! I like cozy as long as I have enough storage.

2. Church (I have to work in the nursery, oh well) then going to Grandma and Grandpa's for a 4-generation bbq. I can already taste my Grandma's wonderful green salad and bread. And I can't wait to see what the kids have made me in school and daycare.

1. On a Beach with my own private David Hasselhoff type lifeguard
2. First service church and lunch at a yummy restaurant with a yummy Champagne cake
ps: Lisa....we gotta go there! I think when you come out again we'll do a progressive dinner at the locals.

1. French doors that open up from my master bedroom into my 'relaxation room' that has a jetted tub that you have to walk up three tiled steps to get to with a flat panel hanging on the wall and a reading area (I haven't thought long and hard about this one at all...); an instant hot water tap does sound nice; a laundry room that is in my house and not out in the garage; and I would love to have a mud room that also functions as a dog room.

2. As of right now, we don't have any plans for mothers' day.

1. Big master bath with soaking tub. Hardwood floors throughout. Large windows. A guest room and formal dining room. On the smaller side, I like cozy, smaller rooms and not big open space. A stereo system throughout the house. Two ovens. French doors to the back yard with an awesome patio. I think about this stuff way too much...I could keep going.
2. A day adventure with a friend...

1. Open with lots of light (windows and lighting for night time), a wrap around porch, an apartment over the garage, a kitchen that opens up into a family room, a bonus room for fun stuff, and all of this on a piece of property on the water - lake, river, pond - whatever!

2. Mothers Day - breakfast w/ friends, working in the church nursery:(, having fun in the yard:-). Sat. we are going to my parents house!
