A Couple of Questions III

Here you go....

1. In light of the post two entries ago, what do you think you would purchase if given $70 to spend at Meier and Frank?

2. As a "home manager" what three things do you think you do particularly well?

Enjoy your Tuesday, let's hope for a few rays of sunshine.....

1. New boots....I think Stephanie and Travis both know what that one is all about!

2. I had to really think about this one because there really isn't an area where I think I excel at when it comes to managing the household. We don't have kids, so there really isn't any need for household management. (I am not going to lie; I am a terrible housekeeper, I hate doing dishes and laundry, and I despise going grocery shopping. And, let's not even get into cooking! Travis will be the first to agree that I DO NOT like to cook, and I will do anything in my power to get out of it.) But, here is the answer I finally came up with: Bill Paying: When it comes to the bills and when they get paid, I am all over it. I may have to pay someone to clean my house, and I may get really lazy when it comes to doing laundry and going grocery shopping, but should a bill come in the mail, it is paid immediately and marked down in my day planner. Then the invoice stub is marked with the amount sent, the check number, and the date it was mailed, and it is filed in the den where it will stay for at least a year. That is one thing about me that probably no one but my husband knows about. I know exactly what bills have been paid and which bills I still have to pay during any given month. Kind of scary!

Great questions, that second one really had me thinking!

Hey Steph ... it's Colie. Michele gave me your blog and I've enjoyed reading it. Time to comment:-)
1. I would buy throw pillows for my couch and perhaps a picture frame or two.

2. I think I'm best at playing! It sounds funny and I can do other things - like clean, cook, etc. But I love to sit and play with Caleb.

Enjoy your day - we did get some sunshine here - I LOVED IT!

Stephanie - Very impressive, wow!

Lisa - getting stains out of clothes and being in the know for current household products....

Colie - welcome to the blog (longtime friend of Michael and Michele's - and consequently friend to me!) I think playing is NOT a gift all mother's have - I think it's great that you love to do it so much.

1. Already answered that

2. Recording general family history (however, not so good at the Baby Book details), knowing the best places to buy and cheapest prices for the food we buy for our house, and (hopefully) having a house that is inviting for folks to stop by and hang out....
