When we go to the pool in town, the kids are always bugging me to jump in with them. I have a standing rule that it has to be at least 80 degrees outside to jump in. I really don't do cold water. Given that rule, Wednesday was a no-brainer. Particularly since we were at such an interactive place with the lazy river and waterslide. I think all the pictures captured the kids' enthusiasm, except perhaps Mikayla - who really was happy, I just chose the less expressive picture. And, by the way, Brayden knew his goggles were on upside down, he just thought they fit better that way.... Yes, that's my son.

Which pool is this? We're always looking for new places to play!
It's the Osborne Aquatic Center off of Circle Street and Highland in Corvallis. I'm sure they have a website - the open swim is 1-7 or something....although, if you have a younger child, you can start earlier where there is less crowds....
Well, duh...I've heard a lot about Otter Beach but never taken my kids there yet - and it's only a few minutes away! I've heard it's been super busy this summer and I get nervous watching 3 kids. I should be able to relax about Tyler and Rachel now, but old habits die hard.
Tyler and Rachel went to the pool in Dallas today; they say it's really fun.
Tonight we got to celebrate the end of VBS with a bbq and swim party at Swanson Cool here in Albany. It was a lot of fun and so little-kid friendly I didn't end up having much to do as far as watching Isabel. She kept telling me to stop following her around!
