A Couple of Questions 89

I'd really like to make it to 100 questions, but I've got to admit, right now the creative juices aren't flowing. Hence, the reasoning behind question #1.

This morning I woke the kids up just a little early so that we could be at the "Tuesday Morning" store less than a mile away at 7am in order to snag a gift item that is perfect for a friend of mine. I've never shopped there before, so when I went in with the ad last week looking for the item, the saleslady kindly explained to me that that is part of the merchandise that arrives Tuesday morning - hence the name of the store. So, I didn't know what to expect this morning when I showed up, but thought I should arrive upon opening at 7am just in case. Sure enough, there were about ten people out front, and at the point that I snagged my item, there were only two left. Actually, only one left, because the kids and I decided that "said item" would probably be a very cozy thing to have in our home as well. This made the trip very worth it for the kids.

We spend the next twenty minutes eating orange juice, chocolate milk and doughnuts at the Market of Choice before it was necessary to pick up our neighbor and head to school. While I don't believe we will be doing much more Christmas shopping in this fashion, I think it is something the kids will agree was very fun and memorable.

So, on to my lame questions......

1. Do you have an idea for a question? (please....)

2. What Broadway-style show would you most like to see? (Does not have to be currently running)

1. holidays: best, worst, funniest memories; how do you simplify/relax/better enjoy the holidays; exercise tips/favorites/absolute hates; what's your handywoman skill around the house/car; make us all write haikus :); list of favorite books/movies right now; share a favorite recipe; another "favorite products" list (they give me great ideas); irrational fears you can't let go of; favorite qualities about your mate; how you would handle it if your family was relocated to some remote foreign land; how your mate proposed; when/how you became a Christian (if you are one); something from childhood you wish it were still OK to do as an adult (like coloring, breaking out in song, etc); what kind of grandparent you want to be; favorite local restaurants/coffee shops; favorite online stores; what you would do if you were told you had 6 mos. to live; or a child of yours had 6 mos. to live; what you do to make the world a better place; something you did anonymously to bless someone else; if your house were on fire and you could only take 5 things what would they be; hope there are some decent ideas in this list....

2. Hmm. I don't really think I like Broadway (but then I haven't seen any and those who have, say it's awesome). I heard "Les Mis" and "The Lion King" were great. But I don't think I have much desire to get dressed up and go do it, at this point in my life!

1. No, sorry. I'll let you know as they come to me.

2. Spring Awakening, Wicked, Hairspray, I would love to see Roxanne right now as Jennifer Garner is starring in it. I am still kicking myself that I went to NYC and didn't see a show.

Welcome back, Hollie! And, thank you Heather - that should just about get me through to "A Couple of Questions 100"! Great ideas.....

1. Obviously doesn't apply to me....

2. Wicked does sound like a great musical, but I would probably go with my all-time favorites of "West Side Story" or "Sound of Music" as I know so many of the songs......
