Belloti's Babes Year #2

The guy that took this pic is a professional photographer.... it really shows, huh!!! Thanks a lot dude!

Tonite, we attended another UO Womens' Football Clinic. This time there were a dozen of us, we've grown in numbers. It did the trick in attracting attention, as our very own ringleader, Christy, just appeared on KVAL news having been interviewed tonite. To further brag on her, she, along with Amy, also earned free admission to next year's clinic by kicking "ideal" field goals in one of the rotation stations. Very impressive.

Here's the group picture of us, minus Belotti

Now, you might notice that the above picture includes Stephie, but the pic with Belotti taken at the end of the evening does not have her in it. There is a reason for that. You see, Stephie was given a special mission by Belotti to conduct a test to see how ready and capable the trainers are. You have to make sure they are football ready, you know.... So, Mike [Belloti] pulled Steph aside when she arrived and asked her to trip on the very first drill and hit her shoulder. She actually did it a little too convincing, though, and ended up really injured. Poor thing. I think she deserves free season tickets...... So, the following are pics of Steph getting special treatment from two trainers and Mike Belotti for a shoulder injury that ended up having her go home early. Hope you feel better Stephie!

He's privately saying, "Mission accomplished, Steph, the trainers did a great job with you!"

  1. How fun! I need a clinic like that so I will go to a game for the football and not just the beer and tightends....
Who is the blonde gal in the middle of the Belotti picture?

  3. Wow, that sucks for Steph! I definitely think she deserves something for that, at least a free T-Shirt.

  4. Here I sit in my hospital room, after a night of emergency surgery to repair torn tendons in my shoulder........ Just kidding!

I am fine; thank you all for your concern. I just got a 'stinger' from landing on my shoulder when I fell, and possibly pulled some muscles. I mean, when I got tackled by one of the defensive lineman. Yeah, that's what happened..........

Let's just say that next year I will be ready for the defensive lineman, also known as the turf!

I think the cute trainers were probably worth it.

  8. Yes Heather, the trainers were worth it. Also, to have Belotti there talking to me about it and making sure I was ok, was quite a treat. Most embarrassing though was the fact that Belotti saw me fall, and came over to see if I was ok. I kept telling him that I was fine, but he insisted that his trainers come look at me because "that was a HARD hit". So, the pictures tell the rest of the story.

I think in the last picture, Belotti and I were joking about how much I had to drink that evening. He asked what was in my glass, and when I told him it was water and that I hadn't had anything to drink that evening, he said that maybe I should change that part of the story a little to make the fall seem more as a result of too much alcohol and a really hot afternoon, and not from just being a little too clumsy. So, we ended up saying that I had seven beers and it was 130 degrees outside. It's no wonder I fell over!

Great times had by all! I can't wait for next year when I can redeem myself.....
