COZY!

While one might think that this time of year wouldn't lend itself to a vacation suite that offers this:

When you live in Oregon, you don't underestimate "our reality" of spring - and what it looked like en route to this cozy vacation destination. (While you can't really tell from this picture, snow was actually hitting the windshield at the time this was taken).

There's no snow on the ground here in Sunriver, but it is chilly - and the fireplace is divine. Given the fact that 15 years ago, we were also celebrating our marriage in snow (while on our Honeymoon in Breckenridge, CO), I think this weekend's lodging is pretty ideal.

The kids are safe and sound with Uncle Michael and Aunt Chele - partying it up with their cousins (literally, as it's Nati's 11th birthday, today - HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!). And, as for John and I - it's a room to ourselves, all by ourselves until checkout on Sunday. Cozy, indeed!
