A Couple of Questions 74

I know I promised creativity, but given the week that we're in - I had to go with the obvious. I have a fun idea for next week, so hang in there with me.

1. What are your Fourth of July celebration plans?

2. What is one thing you'd really like to have happen or see accomplished before the end of summer?

  1. BTW - It's good to be home..... =)

    1. Fourth of July - for the first time ever, Michele and I will be running (jogging) the Butte to Butte. (As will John and Travis). So, that's going to happen and then hopefully I'll be able to move the rest of the day to be able to go to Camp Harlow with the Schillings and then to our friends who have a family friendly cul-de-sac party in the evening.

    2. I wrote that question without having an answer for myself......I could dream and say "to actually look good in a bikini" but that's just not reality (especially after the damage done last week). Hmmm, lots of sun, smiles, and laughter and memories I suppose........

  2. 1. We have never been here on the 4th; that is why we decided to stay here this year...to see what goes on.
We've been invited to a bbq then go to the fireworks. But before that we may meet up with some friends and party on a small sand island in the middle of the river.

    2. To lose 10 more pounds and not gain back the 10 I have already lost!

    1. I'm thinking of taking Isabel to the Harrisburg fireworks. I love the small town celebrations. But our dog is a basket case already and I may just decide to stay home and make sure she doesn't knock down a door and run off. (BTW I'm picking up meds from the vet today so hopefully they'll help.)

    2. Hmm. It's just going too darned fast. I just want to enjoy every moment before I go back to being the Drill Sergeant to get us through every school day, soccer practice, etc....

Boy, for anyone with a scared pet those tranquilizer pills work. I gave one to McKenzie last night and 12 hours later she was still weaving around like a canine drunkard. I think tonight I'll cut the pill in half.

I'm sorry, Steph, I thought I updated you after we got the pooch back. I didn't mean to leave you hanging. Animal control finally connected us with a young couple who'd been nursing her after she ran about 3 miles away, got hit by a car, and collapsed outside his work! But she's fully recovered now.
