.....Plays Together

After church this morning, the kids realized that keeping the house clean and completing the chores yesterday meant a day of fun today. So, that's what we did. We rode bikes, went to the pool, and ended the day at BJ's Restaurant. It was a great day and made me hopeful for the upcoming 10 or so days we'll have on the road together with just our family when we take a trip to Lake Tahoe in June.

In the pictures you'll notice me quite happy on a shiny new bike. John surprised me with that on Friday (knowing we were planning to ride bikes this weekend). I can't say enough how cool it is. My posture is perfect, no neck tension issues whatsoever, and the coasting potential of this bike - wow - it feels like you can go forever. Jodi - it is NICE, and I highly reccommend it.

Also, speaking of Jodi (great to see her today, BTW) - my pictures of the geese we saw weren't nearly as cute as hers. Note to self - take the bike ride about a month earlier and the little goslings will be even more adorable.
