I think we've recovered a bit after yesterday, but, as always the house could use some serious help.... I'm going to have to work even harder during the summer to keep track of it all.
1. You are invited to a summer bar-b-q and you are asked to bring one side dish and your own "main dish" (meat for those of us carnivores....) to grill. What will you most likely bring?
2. Any summer movies you are looking forward to seeing?
Is it just me or does it feel like it should be Friday already? Good luck with your rest of the week......
1. The baked beans recipe that I modified a bit from Lisa, and of course, if you are going to eat baked beans, you need Ruffles KC Masterpiece BBQ chips to dip into it.... As for the meat, I'm a big fan of Yoshidas marinated chicken thighs, or good ol' cheeseburgers.
ReplyDelete2. Pirates 3, Fantastic 4, Evan Almighty....
1. Salad or watermelon for a side, marinated chicken for a main. I also love plain ole burgers.
ReplyDelete2. No movies I can think of, but I'm always waiting for a good (and mostly clean) romantic comedy like "Music and Lyrics" to come along. Oh yeah, and I've heard great things about the musical "Once" but it's only playing in Portland right now.
I really liked MUSIC AND LYRICS too - their chemistry was fantastic and Hugh Grant was made for that roll. John could not stop laughing out loud saying, "I love this movie"!
ReplyDelete1. Potato Salad - side / main dish - steak!
ReplyDelete2. Movies - what are those? I have a two month old - can I still go to the movies? Randy and I really wanted to see Spiderman 3. We worked so hard to try and see it but I couldn't work the times around my nursing schedule :( - so sad!
P.S. Can I put a link to your blog on my blog site?
Of course, Colie!
ReplyDelete1. Shrimp Cocktail and Filet Mignon. But I tend to say "I'll bring dessert!" an ice cream thing of some sort and/or a strawberry something.
ReplyDelete2. We saw Pirates 3. I saw Pirates 2 six hours prior and Pirates 1 24 hours prior. We have a friend who is a pirate, so he got us involved. I was dead to them after he and his wife found out I hadnever seen Pirates, but I got back in their good graces when I did the Pirates marathon.
That was a loooong answer huh? and it was tongue in cheek.
1. Yaya's potato salad & Aidells Chicken and Apple sausage.
ReplyDelete2. Ocean's 13 and whatever movies my kiddos make.
