These are really deep, get ready.....
1. What are your plans for Christmas Eve (day)?
2. What are your plans for Christmas?
Hope the "last minute" crowds aren't taking away your sanity..... I appreciated Colie's post about her experience at the post office, which really made me think that perhaps some of the best gifts we can give at Christmas are the unexpected acts of generosity towards strangers in helping them, letting them go first, etc...... Thanks Colie!
1. We are going to go to "Night at the Museum" with my parents after hitting the 9am service at our church. After that, not sure, Brayden is trying to establish a new "family tradition" in opening "just one" present early.....
ReplyDelete2. We'll open presents at our house from Santa and have breakfast, then head out to my parents where we'll meet up with the Schillings. We'll have dinner then open presents......
Since this is after Christmas I'll tell you what we did do, which is actually what we had planned.
ReplyDelete1. Christmas Eve we hosted an Open House for any and all of us who don't have extended family around. So Christmas Eve day was sepnt cleaning and cooking.
2. Christmas Day was spent in our (matching) jammies, opening gifts, eating, and just hanging ut with each other. Oh, Christmas night we went looking at lights, yes, all of us in our jammies.....
Hope you had a Merry One, Steph!
ps: do you celebrate Boxing Day?That is a way to keep the magic alive for just one more day.....
