Today I spent over three hours edging, weeding and mowing. Let me tell you, a novice edger working with a power machine - next to sidewalk, is not the most inviting sound in the neighborhood.....
1. What's something you've discovered about yourself within the last year, that has surprised you?
2. How about a crazy thing that you did in high school.....
Sydney has her first day of dog training tonight, hope we don't get a call from the principal for bad behavior....
1. I'm sure I had an answer in mind when I first thought of this question, but I can't think of it now.... that I semi-enjoy outdoor yard work?
ReplyDelete2. I think some of the stupidest things I did in high school were the middle of the night drives I did with a friend - we'd drive all the way to Sisters just to see the sunrise or hit logging roads that weren't designed for a Ford Escort. That and letting Dennis M. kiss me (yuck...).
1. I have recently discovered that I can actually jog for distances longer than I would have imagined. I have never been a good runner, but I'm working on it.
ReplyDelete2. I took mini vacations with friends without any parental supervision, but would tell my parents we had a chaperone. That was pretty stupid and I can't believe I never got caught. And the stupidest thing I ever have done in my life was get in the car with a guy who was driving who was REALLY drunk just because I wanted to get home so badly and he was the only ride. I knew I could have called home, but I didn't, and the ride itself was enough to make me NEVER put myself in that situation again. I got out of the car thanking God I was alive and promised I would never be so stupid again. I don't have a great memory, but I can remember almost all of this drive home.
1. That I'd be okay if Emma wanted to be a missionary to Africa
ReplyDelete2. Crazy thing in high school? I wasn't really "allowed" to be crazy then: maybe something like: I wore blue eye shadow one day.....
oh here is the craziest thing I did in high school.....I applied to Bob Jones University!
ReplyDelete1. That I think I would be ok if Travis and I never had kids. Having Bogey has made me feel pretty complete with our little family. Those of you who know me, know that I have always wanted kids, and Travis has always not wanted kids. I went into our marriage letting God have the control over that part of our lives. For once in my life I think I am ok with the thought of never having children and just having our little Bogey.
ReplyDelete2. A crazy thing I did in High School.... I can't really think of anything that I would call 'crazy'. How about the fact that I took scuba diving lessons and became a certified scuba diver my junior year in high school? Nope, that isn't crazy...... I shaved my eyebrows because all of the boys were doing it on the swim team.... Wait, I was in 8th grade when I did that. I was duct taped to a grave stone, blind folded, and fed rocky mountain oysters at 2:00 a.m. for initiation on the high school swim team. Yes, that was crazy, although I really didn't have a choice in the matter......
Have a great time in dog training classes. Bogey should be starting his classes within the next month. Love you guys!
